Planning permission has been granted to rebuild a three-bedroom 1920’s bungalow in a highly sensitive coastal location on Exmoor. The replacement family home will be highly sustainable and will exist off-grid with the use of renewable energy resources. It will be built using low or zero embodied carbon materials, including untreated hardwood timber, wood fibre insulation and reclaimed clay roof tiles.
